Solar TV

A solar TV is a television made to run on solar power. MOSON makes two solar TVs: a battery TV with its own built-in battery, and a 12 V DC TV that plugs into a solar home system or a 12 V battery. Both come in 24, 32 and 43 inch screen sizes.

Solar TV questions

What screen sizes are available?

Both the battery TV and the DC TV come in 24, 32 and 43 inch.

What is the difference between a battery TV and a DC TV?

A battery TV has its own battery inside, so it only needs a solar panel to charge. A DC TV has no battery and takes 12 V power from a solar home system or an external battery.

Can I run a DC TV from a solar home system?

Yes, from a 12 V DC output. Check that the system’s battery and output can cover the TV’s power draw for the hours you want to watch.
